Meeting Time and Place

Meeting time and place for fishing trips will depend on conditions, ideal section of river, time of year, and the river of choice.

What To Bring

Definitely Bring:

  • A valid California fishing license, Salmon or Steelhead report card. Purchase your fishing license online: California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
  • Warm layers for winter trips, waders, boots, and wading staff. Let us know if you need waders or boots.
  • Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.

Optional

  • Extra snacks or beverages. Lunch on Salmon trips.
  • Your personal rod, reel, and tackle.
  • Phone/camera with water proof pouch.
  • Some extra cash if you want to tip your guides. They appreciate it!

What We Provide

  • Fishing rods, reels, baits, lures, flies, and terminal tackle.
  • Lunch on steelhead trips. No lunch on salmon trips.
  • Fish cleaning.
  • Coast Guard approved PFDs. You may not need to wear, but you must have.
  • First Aid and Rescue Equipment.
  • Extra Drinking Water

Safety

Your safety and comfort are our utmost concern. Our guides are mature, skilled professionals, certified in first aid and CPR. All trips are equipped with first aid kits and river rescue equipment. Safety procedures will be explained in detail prior to and during the trip. Because of the inherent risks involved with any outdoor activity, we are required to have you sign an acknowledgment of risk and release of liability before your trip.
